Hewings Transportation Inc. is a family owned company that has been serving customers in Southern Ontario for over 25 years.
Our home base is a custom-built 10,000 sq. ft. (3048 sq. m.) office and cross docking facility, with an 8100 sq. ft. (2468 sq. m.) full service building for onsite tractor and trailer repairs. On staff we have two mechanics – one licensed for heavy truck and automotive, and the other a licensed trailer mechanic – to service our fleet and all regular automotive needs.
Our service includes LTL and truckload service to points in Southern Ontario. We believe in catering to our customers’ needs, and are not limited to definitive traffic lanes. Our professional and courteous staff and team of skilled and reliable drivers have made us the winning choice.
Our well maintained fleet of new and up-to-date equipment includes Internationals and Volvos, as well as 53 ft. (16 m.) air ride Dry Van trailers and 53 ft. (16 m.) air ride refrigerated trailers, ensuring that your shipment gets to its destination on schedule and in pristine condition. Our transportation software, along with our satellite tracking system, guarantees minute-by-minute positioning and immediate updates on pick-ups and deliveries.
